Summer Camps and Clinics
Play Camp: Ages 3 to 5.5
Overview. Through a specially designed program of "directed play," children build
confidence and self esteem as they build a strong physical foundation. They have so much fun playing, they'd never know there is a lot of science
behind the skills we introduce each day - don't tell! (Our Philosophy).
Through games and instruction, Players develop fundamental motor
skills - as well as introductory sport skills, coordination, agility and fitness
- all while having a lot of fun! Motor skill development includes activities such as tumbling, balancing, rhythm, obstacle courses and climbing. Introductory sport skills include swinging a bat, kicking a ball, throwing, shooting, dribbling, and much more
We explore and apply these skills through group games, which allow everyone to be a winner, and individual games supported by our Interactive Arena. Players build a strong foundation, with the confidence and skills to be physically and athletically successful.
Each day will include an extended version of one of our popular L/M classes, plus a snack. Please plan to have lunch before or after camp.

Sport Clinics: Grades K to 5th (Tues, Weds, Thurs 2:00-4:30)
Overview. Our clinics make it fun for children grades K-5 to improve their athletic ability. Based on the curriculum of our very popular Athletic Development Program, our three-day clinics give your child the equivalent of six regular program classes per week, with extended play periods.
Through instruction and specialized games in our Interactive Arena™, Players have fun mastering the essential skills from six sports – soccer, baseball, basketball, football, floor hockey and volleyball. In all, we cover 24 key skills. Each week we will cover six of these skills, two per day. Skills are selected to provide cross-training benefits to improve learning.
For each skill, we start with a brief instruction period to learn proper technique, using our SCORE™ teaching method, which focuses on achieving initial success quickly and then building on it. Then we play a series of games specially developed to reinforce the skill and turn practice into fun. The games are non-contact and are equally fun for all ability levels.
Our objective is to make sure that when they get out on the field, court or playground, children are confident and successful. That will help make playing fun and help lead to a self-reinforcing cycle of physical involvement.
More important than the specific skills and sports for any given week, Players will be developing a strong athletic foundation, including a variety of motor skills, agility, fitness, and overall coordination. Experts recommend “cross-training” with a wide range of sports and physical activities at these ages, rather than specialization, to help children reach their full physical potential – even if they choose to specialize later.
